Quit Cudi?

Cleveland-based MC Kid Cudi has set the underground buzzing with his admission that he's quitting music after his yet-to-be released debut LP Man on the Moon: The Guardians (on Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint). Cudi, best known for his hit single "Day N Nite", blogged that he's already grown weary of the endless spotlight on him. He did however say that he will be doing one more collaborative music project, and will then retire to pursue his acting interests. Thankful that he has been able to provide for his family with his recent success, Cudi says now is the time to leave because "it's the only way to keep me from going completely insane."

Hmmm, where have we heard this before? (See: Eminem, Jay-Z, Game, Lupe Fiasco, Saigon...the list goes on and on..) He's not exactly breaking new ground on this one, but with his heartfelt blog post, do you think it could really be one and done for The Kid Called Cudi?
