Solefood NYC to Host "Going Back to Africa," event
Solefood NYC announced today that it will host a Winter gala on November 7th at the custom sneaker gallery’s TriBecA location, 38 Lispenard Street. The exhibit will begin at 1pm and carry on till 7pm. Followed by the evening Gala at 8:30pm.
The Gala is a fundraiser to support their collaborative efforts and mission to bring sustainable Israeli technologies to rural African villages. The goal is to open three clinics, three schools, and provide three rural African villages with solar power and running water.
This event will feature African and Kosher appetizers, music and dance, an open bar and special guests including several African ambassadors. With an expected 300 people in attendance, the event will highlight Jewish Heart for Africa's work with solar and agricultural technologies in Africa.
