2:30pm  Healthy food and easy vegan snacks, little demo, tastings and talk with Jenne Claiborne founder and head chef at the Nourishing Vegan and Fa-Tai from the rooftop garden at Intervale Green.
3:30pm  Make your own beauty product with stuff from the kitchen and the garden! Taught by Amy Galper from Buddha Nose. Learn about conscious beauty and health.
BIO’s ::: 
YOGA INSTRUCTOR ::: Kristin is a vinyasa yoga instructor certified by yoga alliance; her classes focus on breath-synchronized movement, artistic expression, and proper alignment.  Also a holistic health counselor educated at the Institute For Integrative Nutrition and certified by the American Association for Drugless Practitioners; she has studied under top health and wellness experts, including Dr. Andrew Weil, Deepak Copra, Geneen Roth, and David Wolfe. Kristin combines her nutrition knowledge from IIN with her graduate studies in international affairs and epidemiology, from The New School in New York City; creating a platform in dietary theories and public health allowing her to treat the whole person through holistic nutrition, yoga, coaching, and preventative care. When not in a yoga studio, you can find Kristin running the streets of Manhattan, brunching with friends, or exploring the world. 
VEGAN CHEF ::: Jenné Claiborne, HHC, founder and head chef at The Nourishing Vegan.  She created this personal chef service and health coaching practice as a way to share her passion and talent for creating tantalizing cuisine with busy health conscious New Yorkers. A self proclaimed addict of plant based food that is delicious, healthy and beautiful. A vegetarian for over 4 years, she is a glowing example of the amazing effects of plant based whole foods. Thanks to this lifestyle she has greatly improved her digestive system, reversed depression and gained back her energy and zest for life. Her foodblog Sweet Potato Soul was created as a way to share her immense passion for food, while deepening instincts and skills in the kitchen. Coming from a family of fantastic home cooks who utilize love as their signature ingredient, she certainly adds a lot of heart and soul to every dish. She is a board certified holistic health coach and student of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York.
BEAUTY ::: Amy graduated from The Ohashi Institute and completed the Institute’s instructor training program and studied aromatic plant medicine at The Ojai School of Massage. She maintained a private practice in New York City for 5 years and is a member of the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia, (AOBTA), and OASIS, (Organic and Sustainable Industry Standards) a pioneering organization whose purpose is to support organic and sustainable Health and Beauty consumer goods by establishing workable industry standards for organic and sustainable manufacturing. Amy created  Buddha Nose , which only uses USDA certified organic ingredients when available. All of the ingredients used in Buddha Nose products are totally free of all synthetics and chemical preservative systems. The skin is our largest organ, and by using only organic ingredients, we not only respect the health and well-being of our bodies but we also respect the health and well-being of our environment.
