NEW YORK, NY Oct 24th, 2016 — On Saturday, November 26th, and Sunday November 27th 2016, the LADIES LOVE PROJECT presents its tenth POP-UP SHOP! - to be held at City Lore Gallery from 12pm – 8pm.

Lower East Side NYC, a manhattan neighborhood with galleries, storefronts, restaurants,  and busy sidewalks - LLP is ecstatic to return! We invite you to welcome a much anticipated holiday weekend event with your favorite local artists, and designers.

The Ladies Love Project, a brainchild of renowned street artist TOOFLY, sound sensation Patty Dukes who teamed up back in 2010 to bring together NYC’s most creative artists, designers. These ladies felt it was important to keep the “local artisan spirit” alive in the changing face of New York City neighborhoods. The two-day-only event allows for an intimate, yet energetic “marketa style” shopping experience – designed to familiarize the community, consumers, media reps, and trendsetters with the local independent vibe in NY.  

This year will be a fun filled, and cozy holiday indoors! LLP will welcome’s 20+ artists like; SMOKE & ASH who specializes in handmade wood candles; MONIKA’S CREATION'S who brings our smiles back with her “Little Frida” figurines BUBBLY MOON NATURALS with an arraof handmade soaps that incorporate fresh fruits, nuts,vegetables and herbs! SHANA LOVES ALL with her charming and anticipated tarot card readings, and THE HENNA MOB who will be taking appointments for live art henna!

We also have some vendors this year like CRAFTY COCKTALES who will set up a mini bar with the infamous holiday drink “Coquito!” Have a sweet tooth? CUPCAKES BY JENNY KINNS infamous cupcakes for all ages returns; CHEF’S CARIBBEAN KITCHEN will hold you down if you get hungry, with a delicious holiday menu which will surely make you lick your fingers.  LLP will have plenty of sweet, savory, and palate satisfying treats for everyone all day!

Our event photographer, SAMANTHA MORALES, is back for those lovely family and market-goers candids so get ready to put that selfie face on!

Arts, handmade goods, jewelry, live art, food, music—you name it--- the LADIES LOVE PROJECT HOLIDAY POP-UP SHOP is back and ready to spread love with all our friends and families in the Lower East Side!


About A Ladies Love Project:
The Ladies Love Project Pop-Up Shop  is a collaboration between artists Toofly (www.tooflynyc.com/) Patty Dukes (www.circa95.com). Aiming to create inspiring environments for women artists where they can celebrate their creative styles in Art, Fashion and Music. Ladies Love Project is a collective of women who host a summer & holiday weekend pop-up shop. Curated by TOOFLY, the arts and culture pow-wow is a celebration for independent artists and entrepreneurs. We aim to create spaces for creative individuals to come together as a collective and build community. We support the #shoplocal, #shopsmall, and #handmade economy movement.  

About TOOFLY
Maria Castillo a.k.a. TOOFLY is an NYC artist, community builder, and entrepreneur. Recognized in the early 90’s for her hard and fluid character style, she gained popularity as one of the few females excelling beyond her peers in the male-dominated graffiti scene. Founder of female arts collectives, like; YOUNITY, PROJECT GIRLZ, and LADIES LOVE PROJECT. TOOFLY now runs her successful independent design company, STAY TRU, as she consults, designs, and develops a variety of projects and workshops. Her work has exhibited at many venues such as the Bronx Museum of Art, and can be found on public walls internationally. TOOFLY is featured across media outlets like Graffiti Women, Juxtapoz, Marie Claire, Vibe, and Latina Magazine.

About PATTY DUKES
Patty Dukes Co-Founder of Circa ’95 an independent Hip-Hop music and media group.  Puerto Rican & Dominican by way of The Bronx, Patty  rhymes seamlessly in English and Spanish.  Circa '95 has performed all over the world gracing the stage with artists like MC LYTE, Krs-One, Pitbull, Nina-Sky, Joel Ortiz, Anita Tijoux and Mala Rodriguez. In venues like SOB's, Museo Del Barrio and The Smithsonian Museum in DC. She has been featured on the HBO Latino shows "RoadTrip" and "Habla Ya" and her debut album "FREE LUNCH" is available through their website. When she is not performing or creating in the studio she teaches Hip-Hop, Theater, and Mixed Media Arts to young people through their organization the Rhyme Factory (www.rhymefactory.org).  Patty recently completed two artistic residencies, first with the Bronx Music Heritage Center curating The Circa '95 Pop-Up Shop, and with Casita Maria facilitating the Rhyme Factory Master class.  Patty is currently touring and in the studio working on Circa '95 second musical project.  Patty Dukes is also a resident Hip-Hop Artist at Carnegie Hall.  www.circa95.com
