The World Renowned Graffiti Artist, James TOP
Better known as "The Peoples Graffiti artist", his solo show 'Afrology', held at The Essex Street Gallery in the Winter of 2008, drew local, national and international media attention. James TOP gained his legendary status as a member of The Odd Partners and later would make history by dominating the IND and BMT subway lines during the mid to late 1970s. Today, James teaches at Hostos Community College and is an art consultant and mentor to many area schools, charities and youth based organizations.
